Napoleon has several electric fireplaces with storage that aren’t just glorified TV stands.
For traditional elegance, nothing beats the Colbert mantel package, featuring Napoleon’s 33” Ascent firebox. At 65 inches wide, it’s a very stately piece. Glass doors at the sides are ideal for display pieces, and LED interior lights are on a motion sensor. The 2 drawers at the top are soft-closing. The center panel is designed for media components, with cable management holes in the back. Or, use it for books and magazines. The finish is Antique Mahogany, with diamond inlaid top and distressed brass knobs.
The more compact Braxton is another of Napoleon’s electric fireplaces with storage. It looks like a regular fireplace mantel, in burnished walnut with a faux granite surround. However, it has a clever hidden media compartment for electronics.
Napoleon’s Canterbury is one of their electric fireplaces with storage that’s more purpose-built as a media cabinet. However, it still has nice traditional details like an espresso walnut finish with diamond-cut inlay top. Glass doors on either side of the firebox are perfect for displaying books or collectibles, while electronics can sit on the open shelf above.

Dimplex also has several electric fireplaces with storage, which are generally more contemporary than those from Napoleon.
The Salazar features a striking combination of Mocha and Gloss Black finishes. Storage compartments are cleverly hidden around the the 33-inch firebox, which is available with either crystals or logs.
The Elliot is another of the Dimplex electric fireplaces with storage. At 70 inches wide and only 33 inches high, it has the long, lean look of a credenza or console, with hidden drawers below the 50 inch firebox. The repeated reveal lines accentuate the curve of the body around the insert.
